​How we define language if not by expression
Like the government pleases the rich to keep us from a depression
To the musicians it’s keeping tune in rhythm with percussion
And to me it’s my poetic writings and influential discussions
Oh how religious continually focus on connections
And how the painters brush strokes flow into our paintings
Or how the dreamer dreams all we can imagine
If only our language is communicated by expression
The lover shoes love with feelings and in actions
And surely the cunning linguist like the twist in their passions
The swimmer swims the fighter fights and eternal is everlasting
But what is language when it’s thrown and there is no one catching?
Is expression an expression if there no one watching?
Like this and that are professionals from the noun that their suggesting.
So what do you call aimless talk and words beyond our understanding
If language is spoken and written for human communication
