relentless sun beats down upon them;
to the horrific scene taking place.
in sight for those that stood tall;
goes for those who are oh so small.
there's no end to this madness and fury.
where's the rain to douse it all goodbye?
it seems we lose more and more.
can we better prepare for what's in store?
sad to see such beauty disappear;
of God's creation scorched off the earth.
both for man and for beast;
no preference for either great or least.
it all we shall not give up hope.
can we just sit by and do nothing at all?
replant and restore all that we can.
shouldn't we be compassionate for nature, beast, and man?
