we don't need no water by: e.l.

We don’t need no water
Let the motherfucker burn
Hey boss, more fire over here
Did you deactivate the camera?
We can’t get the insurance money if they catch us
These gas prices are seriously too high.

Do we ever actually consider, how we look to others,
the angles, the struggles, the lighting, and social levels?
Am I to understand, that we are either concerned, unaware, or unencumbered by our outer view,
but we shake in the wake, of judgements from the pew?
How can we not consider, that the physical, is the lowest form of life,
and social interactions, start far beyond our sight?
Can you not feel the energy of the room,
and music not move you, from rhythm of the drum?
Have you ever felt pain, simply from the rain,
or unexplainable joy, from the possibility of fame?
But we still remain the same, making judgements with our eyes.
Distorting the source of our tears, caused by physical lies.
Do we want to know the truth, masked by fake news,
or is truth out grown and thrown away, like adolescent shoes?
Beyond feelings, beyond actions, and far beyond the known,
beyond what we think, and what we see, but is continually subliminally shown.
And although we're undecided, don't claim that your confused,
We should be careful, what we choice, when defining our views.

the bridge of addiction by: e.l.

There was some people at a bridge
They told me to come and jump for freedom
But I knew jumping meant death.
They told me death isn't real no energy dies
But I knew jumping meant death.
They told me everyone is doing it you feel like flying
But I knew jumping meant death.
They told me there is no pain at the bottom
But I knew jumping meant death.
They told me all joy is at the bottom
But I thought jumping meant death.
They told me jumping gave you instant satisfaction
And I wanted satisfaction.
They told me to jump and the truth would be revealed
So I jumped to my death.

my excitement by: e.l.

So I have strong belief that I've been to heaven and will one day return
Return home and this planet will one day burn
Burn not to punish but to purify from the tender
Then the Earth will replenish for Allah's glorious splendor
Then I will glide amongst spirits preparing for the feast
A feast like no other because I no longer need to eat.
Memories of negativity are removed and depleted.
The evils of past wars was easily defeated.
The Word of our Lord will be imprinted in my heart
The trials are over and all is beautified like the finest of art
From the light I will shine far and bright
So there will always be day and no more night.
Such a simple belief that humbles me to me knees
Knees bent, head bowed, in prayer for Peace.

saxophonist by: e.l.

He trailed his fingers against the pearl covered keys, soft smooth, rhythmic sounds, flowed from the polished gold horn, filling the ears of dubious onlookers, not exactly there to hear him play, but pulled in by his b-flat blues scale, played in hypnotic patterns. The sounds vivid like light through a spectrum, poured over those within range of the symphonic waves. Tones like water crashing into your eardrum, a tsunami of triplets, quarter notes, and whaling half notes, that fluttered the eyes like strobe lights turned high. A euphoria takes over, as he played, the crowd swayed, completely in his trance. Sharp G's and high C's create intoxicating melodies, free-formed and adlibbed, into what seems to be a preconscious vibration to tame the mood of the listening soul. And so he played, and the people stayed until the end of the saxophonist experience.
