It’s our marks that set us apart
Ink in our skin as we agin’ try to find a way to express what’s in our hearts I got a microphone wit lyrics to carry me back home Reflectin’ on thoughts that won't leave me alone I had a tall drink of water for a Queen With thighs and cheeks that could make any man dream Our anniversary her first and my last name Yea that’s somethin’ i'll never do again A madd ball was my first goon A skull with a skully and a bandana somethin I still think is so cool I got my daughter’s name on my hands And my first goon keepin’ watch over my lil man These designs is just me speakin’ on myself Family legacy down the backs of my arms with space for my wife on top of the shelf A nickname was my first tattoo An acknowledgment to the effects of how I move So when that needle penetrate what is yo message At 60 you can't tell no mo so how you gon’ pass on that lesson But then again what is you really expectin’ Sometimes it’s best to leave the canvas blank and keep ‘em guessin’ POETIC!
