Growing up, my only father was rap. I used to switch out schools before I was even on track. It taught me how to cope when I couldn’t fit in, when you don’t stay in one spot there’s no value in Friends, When I had my heart broken, I didn’t feel so alone, If I had my headphones I was right at home. When I used to get bullied and stayed up all night, it gave me the inspiration to stand up and fight. Never heard of white rappers until my friend Maurice, burned me a copy of the first Eminem LP. It almost felt like he wrote these songs for me. I realized I could be anything that I wanted to be, so I went to my room with a pen and a pad, wrote down all the things I wanna say to my dad, then right there, life didn’t seem so bad cause I started countin’ all my marbles and they started to add up. -True
